Sports have existed for thousands of years, and today billions of people play and watch amazing feats of athleticism all around the world. Either as a player or as a spectator, sports can teach us important lessons about confidence, tenacity, hard work, and perseverance when the going gets tough.
This fall, we bring the power of sports to your next event. From basketball to badminton, from gymnastics to e-sports, and from football to fútbol, come with us as we explore the wide world of sports and the amazing lessons they can teach us about being our best.

Ava Yeabower

Ava Yeabower
Ava is a ‘classically trained’ Graphic Designer with a background and passion for art in all formats. She is an Oklahoma native and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. Ava has designed for companies from small-town to international scales and has been making the world a more beautiful place one design at a time. She spends her spare time outdoors or painting and is extremely partial to La Croix Sparkling Water.

Brad Killmeyer is a Youth Speaker who utilizes humor, energy and education to inspire students to succeed in school and in life. Through his life experiences, Brad appeals to a full range of student backgrounds, academic levels and interests.
Brad is a Pennsylvania native where he graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in just three years with a degree in Economics. After three years as a Financial Advisor, Brad decided to follow his passion of inspiring youth with a positive message as a Youth Speaker. As an entrepreneur, he enjoys traveling the country, inspiring audiences to ignite their future and dream big. Creator of the Write to Dream mobile app, Brad believes whole heartedly in the power of setting goals and being the author of your destiny.
When Brad’s not traveling, he enjoys doing Stand Up Comedy, playing sports and spending time with his wife, Nicole.

Cody Hays
Cody is the Digital Strategist for TEAMTRI based in Seattle, Washington. He’s an avid chai tea latte drinker and enjoys painting, traveling, and taking photos of his adventures. At work, you’ll find him typing away and trying to change the future of education programs through creative marketing strategies, web development, and Instagram.

David Jefferson hails from the great state of Georgia where the peaches are sweet, and the southern hospitality is even sweeter! His passion for CTSOs is unwavering, and he is excited to continue working with amazing student leaders and passionate members from across the country. As a former national officer for FCCLA, David knows first-hand the benefits that being a member of a CTSO can bring to students. The life experiences, friends, new opportunities and personal growth are beyond tremendous. He’s excited to be a part of your journey if only for a short while. There’s only one thing he loves more than CTSOs, and that’s Beyoncé!

3 minutes and 58 seconds. That is the amount of time it took Eddie Slowikowski to run the mile. Whether it’s as a Gold Medal winner for the USA Track & Field Team, a 3-time NCAA All-American, or the world’s most dynamic professional speaker, Eddie knows a thing or two about peak performance. Through years of training as an athlete and running his own speaking business, he knows what it takes to be elite. Eddie has always had the can-do spirit of an entrepreneur, in all walks of life. Best of all, Eddie can channel that sense of accomplishment through interactive storytelling to audiences everywhere. He can make you laugh, cry, dance and learn… all in one presentation. It’s a rollercoaster journey like no other, and Eddie’s been doing it for over 24 years.
Throughout all the accomplishments and medals, Eddie sought to enrich his life with service and empowerment for himself and others. Through month-long service projects in Central America and helping the homeless in the city of Chicago, Eddie widened his world-view beyond the life of sports. Now a father of two, he proves that a successful balance of life and business can be attained.
Eddie speaks to tens of thousands of people year in and year out, utilizing a vast array of programs that are always customized to fit the needs of each audience. Whether it’s for corporations or associations, Eddie’s personally devised programs are ever changing, keeping his message on the cutting edge for audiences everywhere. His extraordinary rate of repeat business is a testament to his versatile talent. The one constant through it all remains his high-energy message and interactive style. Erica Prosser

Erica Prosser
Erica lives her life by three little words – listen, learn, lead. A lifelong basketball player, she thrives in team settings and knows that listening carefully and learning from others makes for a great leader. Erica was the captain of her basketball team at Lehigh University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and won two Patriot League championships. She then went on to play professionally in Sweden and Iceland.
After retiring from basketball, Erica began her career in the nonprofit sector, working for several different organizations in Pittsburgh, PA and Chicago, IL. Most recently, Erica worked for GG+A, a nonprofit consulting firm, supporting clients across the country in their fundraising and communication efforts. Service is her heart, and she spends much of her free time coaching basketball, serving at church, and volunteering around Chicago.
Erica is also co-founder of Philanthropy Playmakers, an online community built for those who use sports as a vehicle for social impact. Her company helps professionals in the sports philanthropy industry connect and learn from each other by providing a platform to share best practices and lessons learned.
Now, Erica is the Director of Training Services @TEAMTRI where she helps her team develop empowered leaders around the world. She believes wholeheartedly in TRI’s mission to bring light to dark places, and she is passionate about encouraging young leaders to bring their authentic selves to everything they do.
Jay Hollowell

Jay Hollowell has been a Leadership Fellow at TEAMTRI for over a decade and is the Vice President & Training Manager for MaxKnowledge, Inc., a leading provider of continuing education and training for employees in the career college sector of higher education.
With over 25 years of experience in adult education and development as a certified corporate trainer, Jay has designed and facilitated training programs for Fortune 500 companies and organizations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East with emphasis on leadership, core business principles, workforce development, project management and customer service.
In the career college sector, Jay has worked in various faculty, staff and management positions with an emphasis on curriculum design, faculty development, student retention and placement. He has delivered workshops for numerous career education associations as well as career schools across the country. He has served as a career education consultant for Harvard Business School Publishing and Houghton Mifflin Publishing, and is a former member of the regional employer advisory committee for the Virginia Employment Commission. Jay holds a degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and has completed graduate work in management and education.
Before joining TEAMTRI, Jay was the President and CEO of Hollowell, Davis & Davis, Inc., a Virginia-based corporate training firm. Jay is also the Entrepreneurship Chair for the National Institute for Leaders and participates annually as a guest presenter for the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry at the Iacocca Institute, Lehigh University. Internationally, he has lectured at the University of Greenwich in London and at the International Conference on Creativity and Innovation at the University of Algarve in Portugal.

Whether it’s The White House, Congress and federal/provincial agencies; schools, nonprofits, and NGO’s in India and Ugranda; or Fortune 100 companies and small businesses, Ryan and his colleagues deliver leadership principles that are portable across every industry sector to grow organizational health and transform leadership from the inside out. His work throughout the United States and Canada have earned Ryan recognition as one of Tulsa’s “40 Under 40” and “Business Person of the Year” honors in five U.S. states.
In addition to speaking, consulting, and facilitating leadership and communication across North America, Ryan oversees the delivery of over 300 meetings and conventions per year and the association management of 20 nonprofit organizations serving 5 countries, 10 states, and more than 100 communities across the world.
Ryan was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, launched his business TEAMTRI in California while pursuing an honors degree from Pepperdine University in business management and marketing. He now makes his home in Oklahoma with his wife and business partner Carrie Underwood and their two daughters Madelyn and Annabelle.
As a GiANT Worldwide Ambassador and CEO of TEAMTRI, Ryan works each day with a dynamic team to raise the standard of leadership and create cultures where everyone can bring their best.
Scott Cornelius

Scottknowsalotabouttriumphandwinning. Heplayedallfouryearsof basketball at Mid America Christian University including the NCCAA Division II National Championship Team and graduated with a degree in secondary education and theology.
He went on to be the College and Sports Director for Faith Church near Tulsa and was sought after by the nationally recognized Willow Creek Community Church near Chicago to be an Associate Campus Pastor and Associate Sports Ministry Director heading up basketball, volleyball, and softball with a staff of three, 100 volunteers, and 800 young athlete participants.
Scott then exercised his education degree at Mustang High School near Oklahoma City by becoming the Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach and served as a high school teacher.
Scott’s family then made the move back to the Windy City where he started as the girls varsity basketball coach and was recognized as regional coach of the year and helped the Chicago Hope Academy win their first regional title in school history. His success led to his promotion to Athletic and Operations Director overseeing athletics, fundraising, communications, and the management of five athletic facilities. This success led Scott to become the Chief Operating Officer and Head Coach for Full Package Athletics where he led 38 sports teams, 25 coaches, and developed individual training programs for players ranging from youth to professional. Scott also created an international program for athletes from Chicago to play and compete with athletes in Beijing, China.
Scott is a huge OU and Chicago Cubs fan. But, beyond athletics and education, Scott has an even bigger heart for helping folks win through leadership. In 2010, Scott became the Campus Pastor for Life Church, one of America’s largest and most recognized faith-based and innovative institutions led by Craig Groecshel. You’ll have to visit with Scott to hear the story of one of the most rigorous and challenging three-day job interviews you can imagine. But, after successfully making it through the interview, Scott was empowered to set the vision, direction, and lead a campus of 3,000 weekly attendees, supervise a team of 15, support the work of 800 volunteers and manage a budget of $2 million.
An Oklahoma Native, Scott and his awesome family most recently lived in Chicago before making the gigantic leap to their new home in the San Francisco Bay Area in July. He is now a Vice President @TEAMTRI where he champions and leads the important and vital work of the training division – to train, support, guide and mentor leaders around the world.
Scott Mathie

Helping the students of today become the leaders of tomorrow is Scott Mathie’s passion. Scott uses the life lessons he has learned along the way, to inspire the people around him, to learn about the “Other” Education outside the classroom. Knowing the need of leadership, communication, and organization skills, Scott created NixYourLimits.com, an online leadership training resource geared for student leaders to help them catapult their careers.
Scott graduated with a degree in Psychology from Utah State University and will graduate with a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Southern California this December. Now, as the Coaching Services Manager, Scott travels the country working with youth and providing transformational
leadership experiences. In his free time, you will find him outside, playing sports, reading a book, or taking one of many trips to Disney Land! Scott currently resides in St. George, Utah with his wonderful wife and beautiful two-year-old daughter.
Walter Mendenhall

Chase Padgett
Chase Padgett has been a musician, actor, writer, and improviser for nearly 15 years. He studied music at the University of Central Florida while learning improv at the SAK Comedy Lab. After graduating in 2007 with a BA in Music he became a full ensemble member at SAK in addition to working for Disney and Universal in various comedic actor roles. After producing a sketch comedy troupe in 2008 and 2009 he premiered his first solo show ‘6 Guitars’ in 2010. It was met with rave reviews, sold out crowds, and multiple awards. Not long after that he found great success touring this show and across North America in performing arts centers and theater festivals. In 2013 he premiered his other solo theatre show, ‘Nashville Hurricane’ which has also received glowing feedback for its top notch writing and furious finger picking.
After moving to Portland OR in 2014, Chase was selected to perform a sketch comedy showcase for NBC which lead to further auditioning and the opportunity to work with several stars from the hit comedy show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway.’ During this time of touring & auditioning, he was also instrumental in designing many of the creative and technical elements for the Curious Comedy Theatre in Portland during a massive makeover in 2016 which featured nearly $250,000 in renovations.
Recently, Chase has released his first studio album, ‘Change of Heart’ and has written a brand new show called ‘Heart Attacks & Other Blessings.’ He is also a guest performer with Disney Cruise Line where he gets to stretch his musical and comedic talents for audiences from all over the world. He loves guitars, his family and his fiancé, Christina, who is way… way out of his league!
